EPS High-end Batch Pre-expander

The EPS automatic batch pre-expander is the first and most critical machine in any EPS production line. It transforms expandable polystyrene (EPS) beads into uniformly expanded foam beads at precise target densities through a fully enclosed steam expansion process. Unlike continuous pre-expanders that operate with constant material flow, batch pre-expanders process discrete batches using an electronic weighing system that precisely controls the amount of raw material for each cycle. This per-batch weighing capability delivers superior density consistency, making it the preferred choice for wholesalers and manufacturers who require tight density control for downstream molding and cutting processes.

At Epsole, our batch pre-expanders are engineered with a fully enclosed constant-pressure foaming barrel, 304 stainless steel construction, PLC+HMI automatic control, and an integrated fluidized bed dryer for automated post-expansion processing.
