Anti Fire Phenolic EPS Block Moulding Machine

This equipment is specifically designed for processing phenol-modified EPS or flame-retardant grade EPS raw materials. Through a specialized steam penetration process, the oxygen index of the finished blocks can reach over 30%, and their flame retardancy meets the requirements of GB 8624 Class B1/B2 or UL94 Class V-0 standards.

It is capable of stably producing flame-retardant foam blocks with a density range of 20–60 kg/m³. Compared to standard EPS (8–20 kg/m³), the compressive strength is increased by 2 to 3 times, making it suitable for thermal insulation systems-such as those for roofing, exterior walls, and cold storage facilities-where load-bearing capacity is a critical requirement.

Tailored to the specific characteristics of phenol/EPS materials, the equipment features optimized steam temperature control and vacuum cooling systems. This ensures that the flame retardant does not decompose under high-temperature conditions while simultaneously maintaining a short molding cycle. Mold lengths ranging from 2,000 mm to 6,000 mm are available as options.

Controlled via a touchscreen interface, the machine operates in a fully automatic mode, executing the entire sequence of mold closing, feeding, steaming, cooling, and demolding. It features a built-in library of specialized process recipes for flame-retardant materials, ensuring that the flame-retardant performance and density of every production batch remain consistent, with a density fluctuation tolerance of ≤ ±0.8 kg/m³.

Given that acidic substances may be generated during the phenol foaming process, our equipment utilizes stainless steel or specialized anti-corrosion coatings for the mold cavity and all contact parts, thereby extending the service life of the machinery. Furthermore, the machine frame undergoes an annealing treatment to prevent deformation over the long term.
