CNC Polystyrene Cutting Machine

This machine employs an optimal combination of high-precision linear guides and a stepper motor drive system, ensuring cutting precision remains consistently within a tolerance of ±0.5 mm. It is suitable for 2D, 2.5D, and 3D contour cutting of various foam materials, including EPS, PU, ​​XPS, and foam concrete.

Equipped with an industrial-grade, multi-tap cutting transformer, the machine provides stable and reliable power support for hot-wire cutting operations. It supports the simultaneous operation of multiple hot wires, enabling the batch cutting of identical patterns in a single pass.

The machine features an adjustable cutting speed range of 0–4 meters per minute. The actual operating speed should be selected based on a comprehensive assessment of factors such as material density, cutting thickness, and specific product precision requirements. The equipment allows for direct adjustment of cutting speed parameters via the CNC control panel.

The machine comes standard with NiCr 80/20 nickel-chromium alloy cutting wire , ensuring excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance as well as high tensile strength and a long service life for the wire. The cutting process is characterized by uniform high-temperature distribution, low resistance, and a smooth, clean cut surface.

The entire machine features a heavy-duty welded square steel tube structure. It undergoes an aging heat treatment process to thoroughly relieve welding stresses, ensuring that the high-rigidity frame remains free from twisting or deformation during prolonged, high-speed CNC operation.

The control system consists of an industrial-grade PC paired with a multi-axis motion control card. Combined with our proprietary cutting control software, this system establishes a fully digitized workflow-seamlessly bridging the gap from initial design drawings to the final finished product.
