EPS products are widely used in different fields. Can be used to make eps blocks for wall and roof insulation, can be used to pack fragile items as cushions, or used to pack fish or vegetables to keep them fresh, make templates for building houses, or just use beads for making sleeping bags, with cement Mixed to make lightweight concrete, or to make lost foam products for making automotive parts, etc.

For different purposes, we need to use different types of eps raw materials and develop eps beads of different densities. This requires us to choose the appropriate EPS pre-expander for different jobs.
Some novices sometimes get confused. When searching and asking prices online, they will be surprised to find that some pre-hair dryers offer very cheap prices, and some offer very high prices. To know the reason, first look at the name of the machine, is it "continuous eps pre-foaming machine"? Or "full-automatic batch EPS pre-expander"? What's the difference between them?
The continuous EPS pre-expander is almost obsolete now. First, the capacity is small. These expanders are typically model 90, 110 or 120, while automatic batch pre-expanders are model 140, 150, 160, 180 or 200. Secondly, the continuous pre-expander consumes more steam and cannot make low-density beads. Automatic intermittent pre-expansion machine can produce beads with the same capacity, which can save nearly half of the steam, and can obtain a low density as low as about 4kg/m3. So, don't just be fooled by the low price.
If you want to do eps products of lost foam casting, then the ordinary pre-hair machine is not suitable for you. It is necessary to choose a special pre-foaming machine for lost foam. EPS beads for lost foam casting are generally used in a small amount, and the finished product has a high density, and some even reach 50kg/m3 or even higher. They also require that the beads be uniform. The special pre-foamer for lost foam can foam very accurately when foaming high-density beads that cannot be foamed by ordinary pre-foamers.
